This custom road bicycle has a Columbus Spirit steel frame and an Ultegra SL build. The crank in the pictures is a loaner as the Ultegra cranks are back ordered. The gray SL crank will match the paint job a lot better! The paint is a metallic maroon fading to a metallic charcoal that has been matched to the Ultegra SL ice gray.

I just finished off two big bikes for some bigger riders. Both are nice, fast road bikes with a bit more relaxed positioning, room for bigger tires if required, and fitting for rear racks for light touring. The orange bike is a steel frame with a carbon fork, and the other bike is titanium with a carbon rear triangle and fork.

We’re back from the show and trying to get some of the bikes finished off before the move to Guelph. This custom touring frame is made from titanium for the ultimate in durability and resiliency. The touring bike is built up with handbuilt XT/DT Swiss TK 7.1 wheels, Avid disc brakes and an XT drive train. The racks are Old Man Mountain Sherpas in the 700C disc compatible version. Like many of our hard-core touring bicycles, this bike rolls on Schwalbe Marathon Plus tires.
