This bike is another custom touring bicycle with the sturdy S&S machine works couplings. The bike comes apart so you can fly with it as regular luggage. The fork is also handmade, with a custom rake and lugged construction. The bicycle is built up with a Campagnolo Centaur/Comp Triple drivetrain and Chorus Ergopower shifters. The wheels are hand built 36 spoke wheels with DT Swiss spokes, DT Swiss TK 9.1 trekking rims and Campagnolo Centaur hubs.

Lis was just in the shop to get her bike looked over. She is back from touring Vietnam on her take apart touring bike with S&S couplings.
The bike help up to the air travel and the rigorous tour perfectly. The only major incident during the trip - being run off the road in a collision with a water buffalo!
Damage to the bike - a scratched up shifter and paint. Damage to Lis - a scraped up arm. The water buffalo came through the incident unharmed….

I just finished a retrofit on Dave Jolkowski’s old touring frame. I charge $800 for this service. Dave also has a custom TN touring bike with S+S couplers.
